The Wilmington Tennis Ladder is a non-profit organization with over 250 members that has been promoting tennis in the Wilmington Area for the past 28 years. We donate our proceeds to local schools and parks to improve tennis in the area.
We Offer Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles ladders for adults in the Wilmington area. No matter if you are a beginner or and advanced player we have a ladder for you. This is a great way to meet new tennis players and have some fun. The ladder season runs August 1st thru January 15th with a playoff tournament for the top 4 individuals/teams on each ladder and our end of the season social on the last Saturday in January at Echo Farms.
A1 Ladders consist of 3.5, 4.0 and higher level players A2 Ladders consist of 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 level players You can fill out and submit an Application form to join the Ladder for the 2016-2017 season here online and even pay your membership fees online. Membership fee to the WTL is $25. This fee for the season which allows you to play on as many of the ladders as you wish. New and returning members must fill out an application. To be eligible to participate on the ladder, you must be EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD OR OLDER. Younger players can join the Junior Tennis Ladder sponsored by the Greater Wilmington Tennis Association. Please read our Rules for more information regarding the ladder. The current Ladder standings will be posted on this website on July 15th to allow members time to arrange matches by August 1st and will be updated regularly through the season.
